Outtakes: Nude Shoots Done During Tame Ad Campaigns
Even though a photographer is casting for a modeling job where the model is clothed, he will choose a male who will shoot nudes for outtakes that will not be used in the campaign. This is why you might see a coffee table book that includes a nude photo that seems very similar to an ad you saw in a magazine. The nude version of the photo was created at the same time the non-nude ad was created. The photographer submitted the clothed version to the ad agency and used the outtake version for his book.
