As a new model, you may not know how powerful of a marketing tool video can be. It isn't enough to simply be good-looking to beat your competition.

A lot of guys out there want to be models, but they only promote themselves by posing for photos. (This is why there is such an emphasis on portfolios and photos, etc. in modeling.)
However, you can use a video bio to beat your competition. Video bios are created for you at your first Athletic Modeling shoot free of charge. You can upload this video bio to Facebook or any site you wish.
Once you've uploaded a video bio, contact all your friends and let them know you've posted a video for them to watch. Encourage them to forward your video to others. But there are more professional uses for appearing in pro videos on modeling websites
Each time to wish to be considered for an audition or any other opportunity, email a snapshot and include the website address where the recipient can watch your video bio. A video is a much better persuasive tool than a boring photo that doesn't talk. And videos aren't just usable in the entertainment world. When applying for an internship, include a link to your video. People want to see whom they will be working with and who will be getting coffee and running the copy machine each day. A hundred other college students may send in their name for an opportunity, but your application will include a bonus: a video.
A video brings you to life by allowing people to hear your voice and learn a little about you. Your video gives visitors a quick introduction to what you are all about.
