I got some modeling pictures done. They were on a website and I would just filter through opportunities that the website had. There was some really good ones for reading for movies. A couple directors had contacted me. So, I just went through an read for them. I read the sides, so that was interesting.
Also, you really have to find out what is real and who is not when you do something like that because you will get a lot of people with opportunities you do not want to take, or you might not want to take. So, you get the best of both worlds, but it is nice just to have yourself out there and really filter the opportunities that come.
One of the offers was for South Beach. I think the initial offer was $3000 for a set of pictures, and you get down to getting a contract filled out and suddenly the $3000 turns is cut into a fraction. So, you get into that. Just make sure you get everything into writing, I guess would be my biggest advice before you go and you are trapped. So, get everything in writing.
