Track and Field Athlete Becomes Male Model

Willingness to pose for tasteful nude photographs can open doors for male models. A photographer had to shoot several male models in Key West one summer. Since the photographer wanted to capture as many poses as possible, guys who were only willing to pose for tame photos were not selected for the trip!

Joe, a track and field athlete from Ohio State was selected to become a male model and received a free vacation in the Florida Keys and the Gulf of Mexico because he was uninhibited. Joe was accustom to walking around locker rooms unclothed.

He was a perfect choice for an extensive photography production where many different styles of photographs would be created.

About being nude, Joe said this...

Being selected for a big photo shoot in an exotic location is a special privilege. Photographers have their choice of many guys who want to become a model. So, if you want to get chosen above other guys, consider it as opportunity to let go of being shy and timid about showing off your body. You can get selected and beat out other guys who are being considered for a trip! If you were a photographer, who would you choose for an extensive production? A guy who will only pose shirtless, or more versatile guys who don't care about running around a beach location unclothed?

Joe was flown to Fort Lauderdale, where the photo crew picked up a rental car. They drove four hours from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West, stopping for gas in the Florida Keys.

In Key West, Joe was photographed aboard a tug boat. Here he is posing with only a thick rope from an anchor covering his crotch. Now even though we cannot see any privates in this photo, Joe had to walk around the tug boat naked for an hour. This shows the advantages of working with athletes because they tend to not be shy about showing their bodies.

Joe and the crew made frequent visits to the local Key West bars such as Rick's Bar and Derty Harry's each night after their photo shoots were completed and experienced a great time!

After a few shoots in Key West, Joe and the photographer traveled for more than an hour on a high-speed catamaran to Fort Jefferson, a civil war era fort in the Dry Tortugas for a day-long photo shoot. Fort Jefferson is located on an island in the middle of nowhere 70 miles west of Key West. It is only accessible by seaplane or boat.

Here is Joe posing with a towel inside Ft. Jefferson. Now, Joe is buck naked here. Which means, anyone who would walk behind him would have seen Joe's bare butt.
